Echo/Alexa: “Disappointing. Only thing we can reliably get it to do is play music. If you're expecting this device to perform like Siri
you'll be disappointed. Most often Alexa doesn't understand questions and refers us to an app.” –Echo/Alexa owner Evangeline
Apple Airpods: “AirPods: Just as bad as you thought they’d be – You’re going to be taking the AirPods, with their inadequate
five-hour battery life, off and on constantly. You will lose them. It’s only a matter of time.” –Computerworld.com review
Note 2 (User Interface)
Freedom Collar: In a February 2017 Random Marketing Survey conducted at the Los Angeles Griffith Observatory, 44 of 50 random respondents either ‘Agreed or Strongly Agreed’ with the statement: “Freedom’s UI & versatility are superior to Echo/Alexa UI & capability”
– after spending 3-5 minutes reviewing the ‘New Wearable Device – Wireless Collar’ Comparison Chart.
Echo/Alexa: “Now that I’ve used the device for 10 months, I'm not impressed with the device at ALL. Would I recommend it? Sure,
if you want to waste money on a squakbox that gives time, weather and date.” – Echo/Alexa owner Christopher Keller
Apple Airpods: “These headphones gesture at ease and simplicity while making life harder and more complicated. What might seem
like an advancement is actually needless flash and glitz. Don’t let yourself be blinded by it.” –Popularmechanics.com review
Note 3 (Tech & Mobility)
Freedom Collar: In a January 2016 New Product Concept Survey conducted in downtown San Francisco, 48 out of 50 random respondents agreed with the statement: “Freedom’s innovative wireless speaker technology and mobility features exceed Echo/Alexa
and similar devices”, after spending 3-5 minutes reviewing the ‘New Wearable Device – Wireless Collar’ Comparison Chart.
Echo/Alexa: Cnet.com reviewer David Carnoy, “Praises the canister-style device’s voice recognition, design and natural-sounding
voice of “Alexa,” however, he finds problems such as the absence of a built-in battery (the device has to be plugged in), sound
distortion at high volumes, limited functionality and minimal usefulness.” – Echo/Alexa review, Geekwire.com
Apple Airpods: “I have found the AirPods are terrible in phone conversations. For some reason, my AirPods will just drop out, for no reason during phone calls. They are OK for listening to music, but the lack of a volume control makes is annoying if you want to turn
down the volume. For the money, the AirPods just are not living up to my expectations.” –Airpods owner Ryokichi Sagane
